37-year-old Tod-Jaa Dazu-Juan Tilley of W. Jay Drive in Taylorsville was arrested by Hickory Police Saturday morning (June 24) on one felony count each of larceny of a motor vehicle and possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Tilley had previously been arrested in March of this year on charges from Catawba County and from H.P.D. for possession of a stolen motor vehicle and a child support count, plus failure to appear on a felony probation violation and resisting a public officer.

Tilley was taken into custody without incident at about 11:25 a.m. Saturday at a residential address on 29th Street N.E. in Hickory. He was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $30,000 secured bond. He remained in jail as of this afternoon (June 28). He was scheduled to make a first appearance in District Court this past Monday (June 26) in Newton with another court date coming up on July 17.
