Suspects Charged In Connection To 2023 Restaurant Break-in

20-year-old Deangelo Terrell Ardrey of Charlotte was arrested by Lincoln County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with felony counts of breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, conspiracy and safe cracking. Two other individuals were being sought in this case, one of those suspects is a juvenile.

On December 30, 2023, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Officers were dispatched to an alarm at the Crafty Burger Restaurant on Brentwood Road in Denver, N.C. When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered the restaurant had been broken into and a safe had been stolen from the office area of the restaurant.

Detectives were called to the scene and worked with patrol deputies to process the scene and obtain video surveillance of the incident. During a lengthy investigation, the owner of the vehicle used in the break-in was identified as well as two other individuals who entered the business. The suspects were identified as Deangelo Terrell Ardrey, 18-year-old Jerrius Verron Sarvis, and a juvenile, all from Charlotte.

Warrants were issued for Ardrey and Sarvis and forwarded to the U.S. Marshal’s Office Carolinas Regional Task Force. U.S. Marshals found Ardrey at a residence in Charlotte and took him into custody. He was turned over to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office detectives then placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond.

Warrants have been issued for Jerrius Verron Sarvis charging him with two felony counts of breaking and entering a building.
