Suspects Arrested, Others Still Sought In Unrelated Shooting Cases In Hickory

The Hickory Police Department Friday (August 7) arrested a pair of suspects in separate shooting cases. 33-year-old Tantae Deon Little of Gregory Road in Sherrills Ford was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle.

Little is charged in connection to the July 29 shooting that occurred in the area of 904 1st Street SW. Little was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility, his bond was listed at $30,000. A District Court appearance is scheduled Monday (August 10).

Craig Anthony Ruff is still wanted in connection to this incident on charges of disharging a weapon into occupied property with serious bodily injury and possession of a firearm by a felon.

A suspect has been taken into custody in connection to the August 3 shooting at 1725 13th Avenue Drive NW. Two people were injured in that incident. 25-year-old Anton Delrico Harris of New London, NC, was arrested by Gastonia Police Department on a warrant for possession of a firearm by a felon.

Harris was transported to the Catawba County Detention Facility. A charge of felony probation violation out of county is also listed and the overall bond for Harris is $200,000. A District Court appearance is next Tuesday and a Superior Court date is August 17. Hickory Police are still looking for Marcus Deontae Williams, who is charged in this case with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and possession of a firearm by a felon.
