Suspect Jailed On Habitual Larceny, Meth Charges

38-year-old Brandon Scott Campbell of Statesville was arrested by Troutman Police Officers. He’s charged with felony counts of habitual larceny and possession of methamphetamine along with a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Last Thursday, August 31, officers with the Troutman Police Department found a vehicle in the parking lot at 155 North Main Street. Police were told that the vehicle was associated with a larceny from a local business. Officers made contact with the driver of the vehicle, Brandon Scott Campbell.

Campbell was known to have an outstanding habitual larceny warrant against him. He was taken into custody on that warrant and during their encounter with Campbell, officers reportedly found him to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Campbell was brought to the Iredell County Detention Center where he was jailed under $15,000 secured bond. He remained in jail as of earlier today (September 6). A District Court appearance is scheduled for September 21.
