31-year-old Kimberly Nicole Hart of Highland Avenue in Harmony was arrested by Iredell County Sheriff’s Officers. She’s charged with single felony counts of attempted first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, conspiracy, accessory after the fact, and four felony counts of discharging a weapon into occupied property.

Last Wednesday, July 26, an Iredell County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of Jennings Road and Friendship Road. The vehicle was stopped for an alleged traffic violation.

After approaching the vehicle, the officer spoke to the driver identified as Kimberly Nicole Hart  about the violation. Deputies ran Hart’s information through a National Data Base System and learned she had several outstanding warrants for her arrest from Mecklenburg County.

Hart was transported to the Iredell County Detention Center where her bond was set at $1,000,000 dollars secured. As of earlier today (July 30), Hart was being  held at the Mecklenburg County Jail. No court date was listed.
