According to a published report, a news release issued Monday (February 6), says that the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office received a report in October, 2022 about a breaking and entering with larceny at a construction site on Wiggins Road near Mooresville. Employees at the construction site reported someone entered overnight and stole several tools and equipment.
As part of the investigation, surveillance equipment was placed at the construction site by the employees in the event the suspect returned. Approximately one month later, on November 27, 2022, a second incident was reported at the construction site. During that break-in, several items were stolen, along with the surveillance equipment that had been installed.

These images were posted on social media asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
It was learned that the enclosed trailer the suspect was towing in the surveillance footage had been stolen from Rowan County. With assistance from the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office, Iredell County detectives executed a search warrant at Moore’s residence in Kannapolis. During the search of the residence, detectives reportedy found some of the stolen items from the construction site.
On January 30, Moore was found in Rowan County and served with the outstanding warrants at the Rowan County Detention Center. Bond was set at $15,000 secured.
