Suspect Charged In Connection To Break-in To Alexander County Hardware Store

40-year-old Dustin Mark Bryson was arrested by Alexander County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with felony counts of breaking & entering, larceny after breaking & entering, possession of burglary tools, and possession of methamphetamine along with a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Monday (March 18), Ace Hardware in Bethlehem reported a break-in with the larceny of lawn care equipment. During the investigation, Dustin Mark Bryson, was developed as a suspect using the Flock Safety Cameras. The suspect was found in Catawba County and arrested. Deputies and Investigators searched the suspect’s vehicle and found all of the stolen property.

According to the North Carolina Department Of Adult Correction Offender Public Information website, Dustin Mark Bryson has multiple convictions on misdemeanor charges dating back to 2019 in Alexander, Lincoln and Catawba Counties. His most recent conviction was in May, 2022 in Catawba County for assault inflicting serious injury.

Bryson was incarcerated in the Alexander County Detention Center. He was initially detained under no bond. Bond has since been set at $10,000 secured. A District Court appearance is scheduled next Monday (March 25) in Taylorsville.
