A suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with a hit & run vehicle collision that occurred on Providence Mill Road in Catawba County yesterday (October 15). The North Carolina State Highway Patrol has arrested 38-year-old Brian Alan Good of Maiden.

Good was taken into custody this afternoon. He was charged with felony hit & run, careless & reckless driving, and several other traffic violations. Good was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility where he is being held without bond. He’ll make a first appearance in District Court tomorrow in Newton.

The Highway Patrol expressed its appreciation to local media outlets for their assistance.
