29-year-old Regan Thomas Starkie of Fox Avenue in Statesville was arrested August 14 by Iredell County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with felony possession of cocaine along with misdemeanor counts of maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On August 14, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of Salisbury Highway and Yellowstone Lane for a motor vehicle violation. After approaching the vehicle, the deputy spoke to Starkie, who was driving the vehicle, about the violation. During the course of the ensuing investigation, the officer reportedly found 14.04 grams of cocaine inside of the vehicle.

Starkie was arrested and transported to the Iredell County Detention Center under a $5,000 unsecured bond. He was not listed as an inmate as of earlier today (August 22), a District Court date is scheduled for October 10.
