String Of Suspects Arrested On Drug Charges
As part of their continued narcotics investigative efforts, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office recently arrested 13 suspects. The arrests were part of an ongoing investigation into individuals police say were directly involved in the sale of or facilitating the sale of narcotics to an undercover investigator.
The suspects were arrested for numerous felony drug crimes, and authorities say most of them have an extensive criminal history. This is why this is an ongoing operation that will target and arrest repeat and career criminals, especially suspected drug dealers.
The suspects arrested and charged are 48-year-old Roy Anthony Smyre, 62-year-old Christopher Malachi Cowan, 53-year-old Tony Dewayne Burke, 55-year-old Robin Scott Gibson, 28-year-old Kaylan Obrien Brandon, 43-year-old Courtney Lee Hines, 55-year-old Kevin Turner, 41-year-old Thomas Lee Morrison, 26-year-old Levi Daniel McDade and 55-year-old David Vincent Powell, all of Statesville, 29-year-old Sa-Quan Dominique Ikard and 33-year-old Tiffany Ann Ritchie, both of Mooresville, and 52-year-old Gregory Devon Wilson of Troutman.
All of the suspects face felony charges. Ten of those arrested are Statesville residents, two are from Mooresville and one is from Troutman. Following their arrests the suspects received bonds from $2,500 all the way up to $160,000. The investigation is continuing.
