Stony Point Woman Arrested For Second Time In Less Than A Month

34-year-old Lisa Mae Cape of Stony Point was arrested Wednesday (November 1) by authorities in Alexander County. She’s charged with larceny, possession of schedule III controlled substance, possession of schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia

Cape was previously arrested on October 12 by Taylorsville Police. Charges filed at that time included felony possession of schedule II and schedule III controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm by a felon. Cape also has a misdemeanor larceny charge pending in Iredell County.

According to the North Carolina Department Of Adult Correction Offender Public Information website, Lisa Mae Cape has multiple convictions listed dating back to March, 2018. She’s been convicted in Alexander, Iredell, and Catawba Counties of offenses including felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, felony identity fraud or theft, and misdemeanor larceny.

Cape was incarcerated in the Alexander County Detention Center under no bond following Wednesday’s arrest. A court date is scheduled for November 20.
