42-year old Donnie Walter Grimes of Stony Point was arrested Tuesday (May 16) by Alexander County Sheriff’s Officers. Grimes is wanted by the F.B.I. on kidnapping and conspiracy charges. He also faces a misdemeanor simple assault charge in Alexander County.

Grimes was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center where he is being held without bond. A District Court appearance on the assault charge was set for July 18 in Taylorsville.
