34-year-old Jody Gene Johnson of Stony Point was arrested last Friday (May 5) by Alexander County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with felony possession of methamphetamine along with misdemeanor counts of possession of schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Johnson was incarcerated in the Alexander County Detention Center under $50,000 secured bond. He remained in jail as of earlier today (May 9). A Superior Court date is set for June 5.
