Stony Point Man Charged With String Of Felony Offenses
44-year-old Kevin Dwayne Reavis of Stony Point, was arrested by Iredell County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with felony counts of breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver schedule II controlled substance, and maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for controlled substance. Reavis is also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Reavis, who was arrested on September 6, has previous charges pending in Iredell County including felony assault by strangulation, assault on a female, communicating threats, probation violation and driving while impaired.
Reavis is on probation as a result of convictions in Iredell County in August and October of 2022 on misdemeanor counts of assault on a female, driving while impaired, and communicating threats. He received probation and a suspended sentence. Reavis has convictions listed on the North Carolina Department Of Adult Correction Offender Public Information website dating back to 1996 in Iredell and Alexander Counties.
Following last week’s arrest, Reavis was jailed in the Iredell County Detention Center. He remained in that facility as of earlier today (September 14) under $75,000 secured bond. He has court dates scheduled for September 26 and October 4.
