Stabbing At Appalachian State Under Investigation

A stabbing occurred Thursday Appalachian State University in Boone. On Thursday (April 11), at 12:07 p.m., Appalachian State Police responded to a report of a stabbing in the area of Peacock Hall.

One individual was injured, and after being treated on the scene, was transported to Watauga Medical Center for treatment. A suspect vehicle was seen leaving campus and two suspects were taken into custody at approximately 12:30 p.m.

There is no ongoing threat to campus. The investigation is ongoing. No other details were available.
