The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a 75-year-old Valdese woman. She is Bernice Jenkins Elliott. Ms. Elliott is believed to be suffering from dementia or Alzheimer’s.

Ms. Elliott is a white female. She is 5’4″ tall and weighs 140 pounds. She has short, salt & pepper hair and green eyes. Ms. Elliott was last seen wearing a short-sleeved pink shirt and white shorts.

She was reported missing from 1,000 Refour Avenue S.E. in Valdese, where she was last seen. Her direction of travel and possible destination are unknown. Ms. Elliott’s vehicle is a 2017 white Ford Escape with damage to the fender on driver’s side door. The vehicle has a North Carolina license tag, number JMR7855.
