The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert. Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for 84-year-old Hugh Caleb Lowe, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or Alzheimer’s.

Mr. Lowe is described as a white male. He is 5’11” tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has short grey hair, blue eyes, and wears glasses. No clothing description is available.

Mr. Lowe was last seen at 218 Mars Mountain Place in Boomer, N.C. He was traveling in a white 2021 Nissan van with N.C. license tag number HLW-1325. His direction of travel and possible destination are unknown.
