The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for 73-year-old Janice Lee Rowand. Ms. Rowand is believed to be suffering from dementia or Alzheimer’s.

Ms. Rowand is a white female. She is 5’4″ tall and weighs 148 pounds. She has short gray hair and blue eyes. No photo is currently available.

Ms. Rowand was last seen at 3698 Summer Haven Drive in Sherrills Ford. She was driving a gray 2019 two-door Jeep Wrangler. The license tag number is HME7852. According to the Silver Alert, which was issued this afternoon (May 12), her phone was pinging in Washington, D.C., but is now pinging in Maryland.
