The Silver Alert that was issued for Bernice Jenkins Elliott of Valdese has been canceled. According to the Valdese Police Department, Ms. Elliott was found safe and uninjured. The Silver Alert was issued shortly before 10 a.m. today (September 1).

Ms. Elliott was located at approximately noon today off of Interstate 40, Exit 113 (Fashion Avenue). She was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
