A Conover Police Department investigation led to multiple drug and traffic charges against a Siler City man, according to arrest records. 46-year-old Michael Stephen Cole was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver methamphetamine and felony maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for a controlled substance. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of an open container of alcohol in the passenger area of a vehicle, and a rear lamp violation. Cole was scheduled to appear in Caldwell County District Court on July 13 on the felony drug charges and in Newton District Court on the remaining charges.
