At about 7:40 Tuesday evening (June 27), the Burke County Sheriff’s Office responded an incident on Peaceful Lane in the Burke County’s Oak Hill community in which shots were fired into an occupied dwelling. Upon arrival, Deputies found multiple bullet holes in the residence. No one was injured during the incident. Anyone with information should contact the Sheriff’s Office at 828-438-5500. The investigation is ongoing.
