Shorthanded Lenoir-Rhyne Falls to Limestone in Women’s Basketball

Lenoir-Rhyne women’s basketball took on Limestone in its second contest of the season Monday, falling on the road, 75-40.

The Bears only had 10 players healthy and available on the active roster of 21 players. Junior Tatum McBride had eight points to pace the Bears. Freshman Emily Harman had seven points and Freedom grad and freshman Blaikley Crooks added six points. Olivia Nunn had ten rebounds for the Bears, and added five points.

The loss drops the Bears to 0-2 on the early season. L-R women will stay on the road Saturday going to Tusculum. It will be a doubleheader, with the L-R men scheduled to open the season at Tusculum as well.
