34-year-old Justin Wayne Hicks of Diamond Triple Lane in Granite Falls was arrested Tuesday (January 31) by Hudson Police Officers. He was charged with felony failure to appear on a probation violation count and felony sex offender registration violation. Hicks remains in jail as of this morning with a $75,000 secured bond and a District Court appearance scheduled for February 1. He was on the North Carolina sex offender registry as a result of a conviction in August 2006 for counts including first-degree sex offense with a child under 13.
