District Attorney Sarah Kirkman’s Office announced sentences in the following cases during recent terms of Iredell County Superior Court.

Darrel Fagan pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a felon and two counts of possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine and was sentenced to 12-24 months in prison followed by two consecutive suspended sentences of 6-17 months.

Randy Fonseca and Luis Vazquez both entered guilty pleas to felony attempted trafficking in marijuana by possession. Both men were sentenced to 5-15 months in prison.

Thomas Byers pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a felon and was sentenced to 17-30 months in prison.

Bradley Croteau pleaded guilty pursuant to Alford to third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and felony possession of marijuana and was sentenced to 8-19 months in prison, followed by 4-14 months suspended, and was required to register as a sex offender.
