24-year-old Joshua Caleb Ceragioli of the Rutherford County community of Union Mills, N.C. was arrested by Morganton Public Safety Officers. He’s charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine) and misdemeanor second-degree trespassing.

Shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday (January 7), a Public Safety Officer responded to an address on Burkemont Avenue in Morganton. Ceragioli was arrested and taken to the Burke County Jail. During the investigation, police reportedly seized .5 grams of methamphetamine. Due to the fact that Ceragioli was out on pre-trial release for other charges, he was placed in jail under a 48-hour hold.

The previous charges filed against Ceragioli are felony counts of possession of methamphetamine and probation violation. A Burke County Superior Court date is set for February 7 on those charges. He’s also charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance in Caldwell County and has a District Court date February 1 on that count.
