A Lincoln County Sheriff’s Detective found a runaway and that individual is reportedly safe. WHKY previously reported on this case last week. The runaway teenager is back in foster care. The teen was found in the Lincolnton area Last Friday (September 22).

Last Tuesday (September 19) Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to an address on Johnstown Road in reference to a juvenile who ran away from a foster home. The foster parent told police that 16-year-old Jay Cicero Branch left the residence. The teen reportedly left because he’d been grounded and did not want to be disciplined.
