N.C. Department of Transportation crews will replace a pipe in Caldwell County next week. 

Sheriffs Road will close between Union Baptist Road and Brush Mountain Road from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday while crews replace an aging pipe near Sammie Lane . 

Drivers can detour around the closure using Union Baptist Road, U.S. 64 (Taylorsville Road) and Brush Mountain Road.
