Residents Of Hiddenite, Stony Point Arrested On Vehicle Break-in Charges

33-year-old Kadee Mae Korte of Hiddenite and 18-year-old Charlie Ernest Holder of Stony Point were arrested Thursday (April 25) by Alexander County Sheriff’s Officers. Both suspects are charged with breaking & entering to a motor vehicle and first-degree trespass.

Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a Hiddenite residence Thursday following a trespassing complaint. The complaint was filed when an individual called Alexander County 911. The suspects were found at the residence when officers arrived.

Korte has a previous charge of breaking and entering pending in Alexander County with a court date scheduled for May 13 to answer to that allegation. The North Carolina Department Of Adult Correction Offender Public Information website lists multiple convictions for Korte in Catawba and Alexander Counties in 2014 and 2015. Those convictions were for misdemeanor offenses.

Following Thursday’s arrests, both suspects were placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under $2,500 bond apiece. They’re both scheduled to appear in District Court next Monday (April 29).
