A member of the 23XI Racing Team has been suspended indefinitely from NASCAR. In the weekly post event penalty report that was released by NASCAR after this past weekend’s races in Charlotte, Evanna Howell was listed for a behavioral infraction.

Multiple reports indicate that Howell, a senior account manager for 23XI Racing, was arrested by Concord police for assault with a deadly weapon after an alleged incident with an elderly man and a golf cart.

Howell was released from custody after posting a $125,000 bail. She is scheduled for a court appearance on June 16.

Neither NASCAR, nor 23XI Racing have released any further information publicly regarding the incident.
