Lincoln County Sheriff’s Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who was reported missing in late April 2023. He is 36-year-old Jim Dale Rathbun, who is listed as a homeless person.

On April 26, the Sheriff’s Office took a missing persons report regarding Mr. Rathbun. The reporting party told Deputies the last time Mr. Rathbun was seen was on April 14 at a residence on Old Lake Road in Lincolnton. He is known to frequent the Lincolnton area.

Mr. Rathbun is described as a white male, 5’9″ tall, weighing 130 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair. He has a number of tattoos, including a heart with the name of “Neveah” on his neck, an “N.C.” tattoo on his left arm, and other tattoos on his left hand, right arm, and left leg.
