IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. (WHKY) — Residents have until 5 p.m. Friday, August 14, to comment on transportation projects being considered for North Carolina’s 2028 through 2037 Transportation Improvement Program. The proposals include highway, aviation, bicycle, pedestrian, rail and public transit projects. Officials with the Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization say this is the final public comment period before the draft improvement program is released.
