Portion Of Interstate To Close Starting Tonight

N.C. Department of Transportation (NCDOT) crews will close one lane on Interstate 77 in Iredell County starting tonight (December 13) for pothole repairs. The closure will last approximately a week, according to NCDOT.

One lane of I-77 South near mile marker 67 will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. to allow contractors to patch potholes on a bridge over Hunting Creek. Work is expected to be complete by Friday (December 17).

Motorists should plan for delays and use caution while driving through the work zone.
