Norfolk Southern will be replacing railroad ties on the Third Street railroad bridge in Hickory on Tuesday, March 28, and Wednesday, March 29. This work will require the closure of Third Street between Main Avenue NW and Main Avenue SW, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both days. Detour routes will be established and clearly marked. Drivers should use Fourth Street to navigate around the closure.
