Police Say Man Showed Up At Probation & Parole Office With Drugs, Suspect Arrested And Charged
29-year-old Jonathan Ray Cutler of Statesville was arrested March 21 by Taylorsville Police Officers. He was charged with felony counts of possession of schedule I controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver marijuana, and maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for controlled substance. He’s also charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Last Tuesday, Taylorsville Police were alerted that a man was at the Office of Probation and Parole and was suspected to be in possession of drugs. Officers responded and arrested Cutler of Statesville based on items reportedly found in his vehicle.
Following his arrest, Cutler was detained in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $50,000. He is not listed as an inmate in Alexander County today (March 28). His next District Court date is April 17. Cutler has a list of pending charges in Iredell County that include felony counts of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for controlled substance.
