Person Of Interest Named In Shooting

A person of interest has been named in a Taylorsville shooting reported earlier today (August 30) on WHKY. Taylorsville Police Chief Douglas Bowman says that person is 19-year old Kalill Kasa James Isbell of Caldwell County.

Approximately 30 shots were fired during the incident shortly after 12 noon Monday (August 29) near the Taylorsville KFC/Taco Bell Restaurant in West Taylorsville. The victim was airlifted to the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. No update on the victim’s condition was available. The male is said to be in his early 20s.

The Taylorsville Police Department thinks there were multiple subjects in the suspect vehicle. They have released an additional photo that clearly features the North Carolina tag number, JKL-8566.
