They’re each charged with felony counts of trafficking cocaine by possession and transportation, and possession of cocaine.
On Saturday, deputies with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Interstate Criminal Enforcement (ICE) Team were on Interstate 77 Northbound in the area of the 67 Mile Marker, when they conducted a traffic stop on a 2002 Cadillac Deville for traffic violations. The vehicle had a Pennsylvania license tag.
After approaching the vehicle, the deputies spoke with the occupants, Lance and Emanuel Abram. The men explained they were traveling from South Carolina back to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Due to inconsistencies in their travel plans, along with other issues related to their traveling, K-9 “Bosco” was called to the scene to perform a walk around of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted by the deputies. They reportedly found 358 grams of powder cocaine concealed inside of a speaker box in the trunk of the car. They also seized marijuana and $3,563 in cash.
Lance and Emanuel Abram were taken into custody without incident. The two suspects were transported to the Iredell County Detention Center. Lance Abram received a $300,000 secured bond.
