Pedestrian Struck And Killed In Burke County, Authorities Attempting To Identify Victim

A pedestrian was killed in an early morning crash in Burke County. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is seeking assistance from the public in identifying the victim. At approximately midnight this morning (March 10), Highway Patrol responded to the incident on George Hildebran School Road near Wilkies Grove Church Road.

The pedestrian is an Asian male, approximately 25-40 years of age, 5’ 5’’ – 5’ 8” tall, approximately 170 pounds, wearing a charcoal-colored long-sleeve shirt and dark-colored pants. He was walking eastbound in the roadway with a medium-sized, black, pit bull-style dog and carrying a .22 Long Rifle.
