Ohio Man Arrested In Alexander County On Catawba County Charges
30-year-old Nathaniel Paul Webb III of Akron, Ohio was arrested Tuesday (April 25) by authorities in Alexander County. He faces charges in Catawba County including felony probation violation. Webb is also charged in Catawba County with felony counts of attempted first-degree rape, first-degree kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, common law robbery, and assault with physical injury on a law enforcement, probation, or parole officer.
According to the North Carolina Department Of Adult Correction Offender Public Information website, Webb was convicted of post release revocation in May, 2022, in Catawba County. He committed the offense in March, 2022. Webb was convicted in May, 2016 in Catawba County of first-degree kidnapping, common law robbery and assault on a policeman. Following Tuesday’s arrest, Webb was transferred to the Catawba County Detention Facility where bond was set at $40,000. A Superior Court date is set for May 18.
