No New COVID-19-Related Deaths Reported In Hickory Metro: Monday Morning Update (Updated With Corrected Caldwell County Case Total)

30 new cases of COVID-19 were reported Friday (March 26) by Catawba County Public Health, increasing the total to 17,718, with 293 deaths. There were 16 people hospitalized in Catawba County.

13 new cases of the coronavirus were confirmed Friday in Caldwell County, raising the total to 8,938, with 140 deaths. There were seven Caldwell County residents hospitalized. Seven new cases of COVID-19 have been added in Burke County since the last update, lifting the total to 9,681, with 147 deaths. Two people were hospitalized.

Five new cases were reported in the last update from Alexander County health officials, increasing the total to 4,080, with 84 deaths. There were ten people hospitalized. According to the most recent updates, there were no new coronavirus-associated deaths reported in the Hickory Metro.
