39-year-old Haley Shafrneck of Main Avenue in Newton was arrested by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. She’s charged with possession with intent to sell & deliver cocaine, possession of controlled substance on prison or jail premises, possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of an open container/consuming alcohol in a passenger area.

Shafrneck was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility this morning (July 14) under $10,500 bond. A District Court date was scheduled today.
