24-year-old Jessie Rehann Allen of East 11th Street in Newton was arrested Tuesday (August 2) by Newton Police Officers. She’s charged with possession of methamphetamine. Allen was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $1,000 bond. She remained in jail as of earlier today (August 3). A District Court appearance was scheduled today.
