25-year-old Brandy Leigh Ledford of Old State Road in Newton has been arrested in Catawba County on five counts of financial card theft, five counts of obtaining property by false pretenses, two counts of financial card fraud, and one count of breaking & entering a motor vehicle. Ledford was jailed today (August 11) in the Catawba County Detention Facility with bond set at $15,000. A first appearance in District Court was scheduled today in Newton.
