61-year-old Brenda Kay Blackburn of North Olivers Cross Road in Newton was arrested Thursday (July 2) by Conover Police Officers. She’s charged with felony possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Blackburn was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility without bond. A District Court date is scheduled for Monday (July 6).
