35-year-old Casey Renee Blackwell of Forest Drive in Newton was arrested Tuesday (May 23) by Alcohol Law Enforcement Officers. She’s charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Blackwell was detained in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $9,000 bond. A District Court date was scheduled today (May 24).
