A Catawba woman is facing drug charges following her arrest by the Newton Police Department. According to arrest records, 51-year-old Cheryl Lee Zepp of Carlos Road in Catawba was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Zepp was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $6,000 secured bond. She was scheduled to make a first appearance Tuesday in Catawba County District Court.
