40-year-old Benny Lee Huffman of West 15th Street in Newton was arrested Monday (September 11) by Newton Police Officers. He’s charged with possession of methamphetamine. Huffman was confined in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $1,500 bond. He remained in jail as of earlier today (September 12). A District Court appearance was scheduled today.
