NEWTON, N.C. (WHKY) – 64-year-old David Sean Eugene Riser of 1st Avenue NE in Hickory was arrested Thursday (July 23) by Newton Police Officers. He’s charged with possession of methamphetamine. Riser was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $10,000 bond. A Friday (July 24) District Court date was scheduled.
