45-year-old Timothy Lamont Stewart of McDaniels Circle in Newton was arrested last Thursday (May 4) by Hickory Police Officers. He’s charged with felony identity theft. Stewart was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility following the arrest under $8,000 bond. He remained in jail as of earlier today (May 8). A District Court appearance is scheduled this Thursday (May 11).
