A Newton man is facing felony charges following his arrest by the Newton Police Department.

According to arrest records, 48-year-old Richard Dale Walters of Star Drive in Newton was arrested Thursday (June 25). He is charged with first-degree burglary and felony assault on an individual with a disability.
