39-year-old Patrick Steven Shuford of Preach Drive in Newton was arrested Thursday (May 26) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with failure to appear on counts of felony probation violation, possession of a firearm by a felon, break or enter a motor vehicle, and felony larceny. Shuford was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $13,000 bond. A Superior Court date is scheduled next Tuesday (May 31) and District and Superior Court appearances are scheduled for June 6.
